HEAD START NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA
Prime Time Head Start is a free program that promotes school readiness for preschoolers. We bring a relentless focus on positive child and family outcomes to help close the achievement gap and build bright futures with the children, families, and communities served by the Head Start program. Prime Time will officially take over as the Head Start grantee for DeSoto, Natchitoches, and Red River Parishes on December 1. We feel privileged to have been chosen to serve your community, and hope the information below will help answer any questions you may have as we transition services.
Our program is built on the belief that strong and supported families are essential to a child’s success and that you, as your child’s caregiver, are our most important partner. We look forward to working closely together to ensure that your child achieves their school-readiness goals.

Over the next several months, we will be working with the current provider and our partners to transition program operations. This includes licensing centers, hiring staff, transferring student data, and setting up data and technology systems.
